Who are the best candidates for Mercer County commissioner? A pair of debates this week are unlikely to answer that question but they could help voters in the May 15 primary narrow their choices. The Herald, the League of Women Voters of Mercer County and radio station WPIC are co-sponsoring debates at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at Artman Elementary School in Hermitage.
